Who We Are

Picnic is a fast-growing food automation company that works with restaurants, commercial kitchens, and regular mom-and-pop stores. We help businesses of all sizes to save time, money, and labor, allowing them to focus on the one thing that drives revenue: the customer.

Launched in 2016, our mission is to transform the future of food service through innovative automation. Right now, we’re homing in on the pizza production process and working to become the go-to automation station for pizza establishments across the country.

We’ve grown to a team of over 60 talented, highly collaborative individuals who value our energetic, open, and compassionate culture, and we’re looking for like-minded folks to help take pizza automation to the next level.

How Picnic takes care of you

Full medical coverage (the way it should be)

We provide all full-time employees with top-tier health care, including two medical plan options, ensuring that your health is taken care of when you need it most. And for employees on the HSA plan, we chip in $2,000 to help manage your deductible.

Our dental plan is designed to allow participants to receive care from any licensed dentist.

Our comprehensive vision service plan includes an annual eye exam, lenses or contacts, and eyeglass frames every 12 months.

Flexible working

Not everyone is at their best from 9-5. That’s why we encourage employees to work when they’re at their peak and promote a hybrid office model for our employees in Seattle and remote work with flexible working schedules for everyone else.

Rest, reset, and recharge

Picnic Works provides all regular, full-time employees with a self-managed PTO plan which includes personal days.

401(k), a-okay

All regular full-time employees are automatically enrolled in Picnic’s 401(k) upon hire. (No match… yet!)

Eat something other than pizza

Employees in our Seattle office can enroll in a meal plan and snack from our well-stocked supplies.

Support is there when you need

Sometimes, life gets hard. We totally get it. That’s why our Employee Assistance Program gives you 24/7 confidential counseling for you and your immediate family members and includes up to three face-to-face consultations per year.

Bring your pup to work

You’re more than welcome to bring your pooch to Picnic! We even offer our full-time employees access to pet insurance.

We provide up to a $600 reimbursement for all things health and wellness-related.
